Shopify Merchant Account With Pixxles

If you have a Shopify store and can’t process payments through Shopify Payments, then setting up a Shopify merchant account with Pixxles may be the right solution for you.

Here are three reasons why people are turning to Pixxles:

1. Shopify Payments doesn’t allow for certain payment types.

2. Pixxles integrates directly with your Shopify store.

3. Pixxles provides excellent customer service beyond what you get with most large payment processors.

Payment Types That Pixxles Takes

Pixxles accepts multiple niche business types, including businesses in the adult novelty niche.

We’re open-minded and don’t say no based on your business type. Instead, we take a case-by-case approach.

Pixxles Is Licensed and Regulated

At present, we take payments inside the United Kingdom, are licensed with the Financial Conduct Authority, and have our Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license.

We offer full, live currency conversion and are working toward allowing clients to do a currency swap.

Pixxles is regulated just like its competitors—Stripe, Square, and Revolut.

Our Customer Service Guarantee

Pixxles is committed to providing you with prompt customer service around the clock.

We offer support via video, phone, email, and text and involve multiple team members to meet your needs, whether that means bringing our underwriters onto a call or our integrations team.

We offer step-by-step instructions and answer all your questions. Contact us for Custom Pricing.

Pixxles Handles Payment Issues Quickly

Since Pixxles is licensed and regulated and doesn’t rely on 3rd parties, we are in a unique position to handle payment issues you encounter as soon as possible.

Customer support is always available by phone.

Pixxles’ Onboarding Process

When you contact us, the first step in our onboarding process is assigning you a sales representative, after which we send you a secured link for your application.

Pixxles Application Information

During the application, we will ask you the basics about you and your organization, such as:

  • What your UTR number is
  • Whether you are a sole trader
  • What your Shopify store’s monthly volume is
  • Whether you require a virtual terminal
  • Whether you already have a payment processor
  • What currencies you are going to be taking payments in
  • What products you are selling, and the description of your products
  • Transaction amounts, including your highest expected transaction amount
  • What regions you are targeting for processing
  • Company URLs

Note: If you are a sole trader, we’ll request that you submit documents proving that you are registered properly. For this, we’ll need your organization’s address and director information.

Each of the company’s directors has to add their information and signatures and submit a proper ID, whether a UK ID or passport. This is because Pixxles doesn’t take identifications outside of the UK other than passports.

After Your Pixxles Application

Once your application is completed, Pixxles does ask for a UTR certificate and a bank statement with the name of the company director and their bank, which will be sent to our underwriter.

From there, our underwriter will review your request and may require more information, such as additional product information and pictures of inventory.

Contracts and Integrations

After going to the underwriter, your application will go to the contracts team, then on to integrations.

You, the merchant, are able to decide if Pixxles will do the integrations for you or if you’d rather have your company handle them in-house.

During the integration phase, there is a test transaction in which Pixxles has you run a card for 1 GBP or 1 Euro.

If the payment is successful, then you are ready to go live. Pixxles closely monitors your account to ensure that there are no hiccups once this happens.

The whole process can take 48 to 72 hours, although you should expect a 3-day process.

Ecommerce and Shopify In 2023 and Beyond

The ecommerce industry is exploding, making ecommerce websites an increasingly important need for businesses today.

According to the Office for National Statistics, internet sales as a percentage of total retail sales rose from a mere 2.8 percent at the end of 2006 to an impressive 26.6 percent at the end of 2022.

Statista forecasts that by 2025 a massive 38 percent of retail sales in the UK will be through ecommerce.

We expect this trend to continue through the end of the decade and potentially beyond.

So, what does this mean?

Answer – Finding a licensed and ethical payment processor to take payments through your Shopify store is more important than ever.
